Bring Down the Stars Beautiful Hearts Duet Book 1 eBook Emma Scott Suanne Laqueur
I knew it. I freaking KNEW within just a few pages of starting this book that I was going to lose my mind when it ended. I tried to keep reminding myself that yes, THIS IS, in fact, A DUET and this first part would, in fact, end and I'd definitely be left with some unresolved feelings. But OOOOH MY WORD, I was not expecting to feel so lost. So emotional. So desperately in love with EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING about this novel. I can't handle myself right now. I just can't.Bring Down the Stars just obliterated my heart. Emma Scott's writing is nothing short of breathtaking. Her storytelling is beyond beyond beyond ANYTHING I can adequately describe. I don't even have words for the way this story completely enveloped me from the very first page to the very last. This beautiful, unforgettable, wholly emotional story of unrequited love and friendship is one of the most moving, evocative storylines I've read. I never wanted it to end.
My heart is aching as I sit here thinking back on everything I've just been put through. These characters, ALL of them, are so special, so unbelievably magnetic. There's just no way you can't feel everything for them, with them. There's absolutely a love triangle here on these pages but it's unlike any I've ever read before. It's full of selfless unconditional love and loyalty. It's full of respect and honor and longing. It's full of unsaid things and beautiful words and tumultuous emotion. It's a complicated tangle of good intentions and white lies and THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE IT. It is EXTRAORDINARY.
I haven't read many Emma Scott books, I admit, but I can't explain how desperately in love I am with her words in this moment. I am lost. I've been swept away and I never want to return. This book is STUNNING. It's sensual and it's full of fiery attraction and brutal heartache. I don't think I had dry eyes the entire read. Whether it was tears of sadness or tears of joy, I didn't read a single page without feelings SO MANY THINGS. There's nothing else I want to read right now more than the next book. This storyline, these characters, have completely eclipsed everything else I planned to do and read next. I see nothing else but what might come for Weston, Connor and Autumn. I want nothing more than MORE. I need more. This ode to friendship, this beautiful testament to love, to words, to soul mates... it's one of the best books I've read, period. And I'm both devestated and giddy for what's to come.

Bring Down The Stars by Emma Scott is a story filled with so many things...most of all, beauty! Beauty in Friendship, beauty in connections, beauty in art and the beauty in love that lies underneath each other, in the heartbeats of the people closest to you.
Connor, Weston and Autumn make a dynamic trio. Connor and Wes are best friends who have always had each other's backs, but when they meet sweet, deep, creative, beautiful Autumn, they both wanted her for different reasons. Personal reasons.
As time marched on and Autumn began to realize and put together the puzzle that was her life, she made some discoveries that were eye opening, easy and hard at the same time and life changing.
Please take this incredible journey with the wonderful Emma Scott! You will be so glad you did!
It is always difficult for me to convey into words how much a book moved me or how much I loved it or how amazing it is—for fear of not doing it justice. I am faced with that again as I sit down and write my review for Bring Down the Stars by Emma Scott. Because this book deserves all the recognition and praise. It was all those things for me…and so much more. A gorgeous, poetic, brilliant book that centers around abandonment, friendship, and unrequited love.
“Sometimes the heart hides itself behind the mind.”
Once again Emma Scott delivers a beautifully written, beautifully emotional book filled with her amazing prose and profound characters. They are brought to life and fill the pages with heart break, love, humor, and angst. So much angst. I found myself pouring over the pages totally in love with this story, the characters, the writing. I didn’t want to put it down and when I had to, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Stories like this, books like this--it’s why I read. To get lost in the pages, submerged in excellent writing and storytelling and feel emotions that stir my heart and soul. My heart is still reeling after this stunning and passionate story.
“Live every life but the one you want.”
I was absorbed from the first page being introduced to a young Weston Turner whose circumstances in life have pushed him to shoulder blame and avoid happiness and love. Then there is his best friend Connor Drake who has the ability to make everyone smile…except his parents whose smile and love is all he ever craved. And Autumn Caldwell, just out of a failed relationship, who worries endlessly about her family’s finances and just wants to study hard and make a difference in the world. These characters weave a raw and emotional story that had my heart bursting and shattering all at the same time. I am left feeling a myriad of emotions and also feeling so much hope for things to come. I cannot wait for the conclusion of their story. Bring Down the Stars is one of my favorite reads so far this year. Emma Scott is one of my all time favorite authors. Read this book and understand why. She is truly an amazing and gifted writer. This is an exceptional book. Most definitely a must read. I give it all the glowing, sparkling, vibrant STARS in the universe. I absolutely loved it.
